For its Balkan countries market (specifically the SEE Region: Adria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, and Malta), Exide is looking for a Regional Sales Manager South Eastern Europe to be responsible for maintaining and nurturing strong relationships with key clients that generate the most income, and for developing sales and all related sales activities to define key or strategic customers. He / She will utilize company resources to develop and implement strategic solutions, both to achieve key clients’ long-term goals and to attract and maintain new clients. Ensure sales results in terms of revenues, profit (contribution, customer EBIT / P&L), and cash (DSO and over-dues) within his Sales area (designated accounts, brands, or areas). Develop profitable sales to key clients for primary, secondary brands, and private labels. Contribute to medium & long-term objectives by proposing changes in organization of proper channels. Analyze the market (distribution trends by main channels / competitors). Contribute to medium and long-term objectives, including pricing strategy and customer satisfaction goals within defined limits of discretion (2-year plan, customer marketing programs, logistics). Communicate instructions and information effectively to Field Sales, Customer Service, Sales Administration, Area Managers, and report regularly on account performance to management and team. Requirements : Academic Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Energetic Engineering or Economics. A different educational background will be considered if coupled with substantial experience in the role. At least 5 years of experience in Sales at a Tier-1 company in Automotive Aftermarket (and a solid understanding of the markets). Proficiency in MS Suite. Fluent in English, both spoken and written (additional regional languages are a plus). Strong communication and negotiation skills, customer orientation, results-driven approach, high accountability, self-organization, and business acumen.
