Our Buying & Merchandising South Region Department in Segrate (Milan, Italy) is looking for a Specialist Buying & Merchandising (m/f/d) (100%) This is a temporary role for 6 months, covering maternity leave. Your Responsibilities: Support the Regional Head of Buying & Merchandising in driving brand and business strategies. Provide analysis and insights to support presentations during sales conferences and customer meetings. Assist in developing regional distribution strategies for novelties and ongoing products by sub-channel and key customers. Participate in implementing seasonal core assortments to maximize sales, focusing on key stories and driving consistency. Support the handover of collections to the sales team with clear strategies and messaging. Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes aligned with brand, sub-brand, and assortment strategies. Assist sales teams during sell-in, including product presentations, training, and follow-up on customer claims. Manage development and review of seasonal and ongoing catalogues and price lists. Provide qualitative and quantitative inputs, including competitor analysis, to inform product development. Your Ideal Profile: Initial experience in buying, merchandising, or product development. Strong business analysis skills with brand and sales sensitivity. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Good communication and collaboration skills.
