Our team in India works as an extension of the global team on projects of strategic importance. Manager I About this team: With the rapid growth of our technology department to over 1400 software engineers, Enterprise Engineering department strategizes, defines, and builds the global standards and practices that our software engineering teams use to deliver business needs/capabilities in an effective, repeatable, secure, and cost-effective manner. Core Responsibilities: The direct manager aligns Engineering direction with Architecture and Program Management across all technology departments including Digital, Retail, Infrastructure, Product and Supply Chain. Roles below set standards, enroll communities and hold engineering team accountable. They also deliver software solutions and support to Enterprise problems such as Secure Codigng Pipelines and Enterprise Tooling. Responsible for the vision, strategy, roadmap of enterprise engineering through which bring scale, secure, reliable, consistent development of technology ensuring the future growth targets of lululemon commerce. Drive and prioritize buiding out the practices which speed up time to market in the long term but do not hinder the short term in partnership with business partners and stakeholders Enrolling and alignment of standards and practice with the 5 departments, 30 teams and 1400 engineers (FTE, Contractor and Professional Services). Build a program to establish and adopt enterprise engineering for the teams that support $2.5B e-commerce orders and future scale. Lead and manage multiple cross-functional pods, including our Developer Experience (DevEx) pod, ensuring delivery against platform engineering standards, enablement goals, and developer productivity outcomes. Drive execution across these pods by mentoring engineering leads and aligning initiatives to platform engineerings strategic direction. Baseline our engineering maturity to inform current and future strategic decisions, and to measure success of initiatives. Enhance our ability to learn, avoid duplication and teach our developed standards as a practice. Create Engineering Communities of Practice under the Engineering Integrity Model (EIM) key pillars. Manage key vendors Splunk, GitHub and GitLab and Enterprise Tooling support. Qualifications: 12-15 years of experience in software development and have experience in leading software development teams and have people and performance management expertise. Highly valued experience with Ecommerce,Micro Services, AWS Experience with full-stack technologies( Java ,angular, react,sql) Platform engineering andinternal developer platforms (IDPs/ backstage/ Openshift) People management/Performance management expertise. CI/CD pipeline design and standardization(e.g. Gitlab) Developer Experience Strategy and tooling Infrastructure as code frameworks likeTerraform or AWS CDK Security integration in pipelines (e.g., SAST, DAST, SBOMs) Working in matrixed organization with global stakeholders and cross-functional pods Engineering governance, maturity models, and enablement frameworks Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field or equivalent experience Must haves: Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life.
