Mammographer (Hybrid)

The Department of Radiology at the ICAHN school of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC HH/Queens is seeking a full and part time Mammographer. We are seeking an energetic, highly motivated and talented candidate to join our team. Responsibilities will entail help in covering Mammography and Women’s Imaging. The Mammography and Women’s Imaging Department at QHC performs approximately 11K Mammograms studies per year and does approximately 1,100 biopsies per year. The Radiology Department has 2 state of the Art 3-D Hologic Dimension machines, one Hologic stereotactic machine, two 128 slice CT scanners, a Pet/CT scanner, a 1.5 Tesla MRI, ultrasound, Diagnostic x-rays/Fluoroscopy suites and Nuclear medicine. The candidate will be joining two Full time Mammographers to provide services. The Women’s department is supported by 2 Nurses, 3 technologists and 1 Breast Imaging Supervisor. New York City Health Hospital Queens, an acute care facility, is part of the largest municipal healthcare system in the country and serves the most culturally diverse in the world with a wide spectrum of medical conditions. Queens hospital is designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. Successful candidates must be Board certified/eligible in Radiology. The candidate must be licensed to practice in the State of New York. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with years of service and accomplishment. Compensation is competitive and proportionate with qualifications and excellent fringe benefits.
