Senior Finance Controller

Our client is a Multinational company with a remarkable presence worldwide and a fast-growing business. To expand its structure, we are seeking a Senior Finance Controller. The candidate will be part of the FP&A team, reporting to the FP&A Manager. Key responsibilities include monitoring business performance of the BUs, market segment plants, ensuring accuracy, predictability, and timely delivery of results, as well as conducting comparative analysis and providing comments as a business partner. The role involves participation in the monthly Management Reporting process, quarterly, and Year End closing of the Group Reporting. Responsibilities: Collaborate in the preparation of Budget, Forecast, and Multi-Year Plan processes for the BUs, coordinating all involved functions. Perform volume-price-mix analysis on sales and margins for customers, product families, and geographic areas to assess profitability. Create effective PowerPoint presentations to communicate main business drivers to management for decision-making. Develop and run analytical review models to monitor profitability, cash generation, and financial structure of the Group. Define and track financial and non-financial KPIs through monthly reports, establish benchmarks, and implement improvements. Support the development and implementation of decision-making models (e.g., Make or Buy, Business Plan). Assist Plant Operations in defining annual targets and KPIs, and monitor variances against actuals. Conduct cost center analysis on Opex, providing insights for cost optimization and expense monitoring. Ensure accuracy of Inventory and warranty provisions for the Italian legal entity from a Reporting and SOX perspective. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, or Corporate Finance. 4-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance within a manufacturing environment; Big Four experience is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing situations. Knowledge of USGAAP is advantageous. Experience with ERP systems (JDE, BI are a plus). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Fluent in English. Willingness to travel. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international, cross-functional team environment. Ability to work effectively with all management levels and team members is essential.
