Neuro Oncology|TJC Gold Seal Brain Tumor Program|Large Established Neuroscience Team|North Carolina at ECU Health summary: ECU Health Physicians is seeking a board-eligible/certified Neuro-Oncologist to join their multidisciplinary brain tumor program in Greenville, North Carolina. The program is part of a robust network of specialists providing cutting-edge cancer care, supported by advanced technology and comprehensive clinical trials. ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Medical Center, located in Greenville, North Carolina are seeking a BE/BC fellowship trained Neuro-Oncologist. The successful candidate will join an established multidisciplinary team that includes specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiosurgery, hematology oncology, radiation oncology, neuroradiology and neuropathology. ECU Health Medical Center proudly earned the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Brain Tumor Care in the fall of 2024. ECU Health Physicians provides state of the art care for patients in eastern North Carolina through a cancer care network of university faculty and hospital employed physicians in a hub and spoke model of care. Opportunity Highlights: Employment by ECU Health Physicians Growing 9-hosptial physician-led private not for profit health system with locations across eastern North Carolina Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed academic medical center, and the home to eastern North Carolina’s only American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer accredited Academic Comprehensive Cancer Center Established neuro-oncology program Growing clinical neuroscience team inclusive of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology.
