Director of Manufacturing Operations

We’re looking for a experienced Operations /Manufacturing Director with a passion for performance, and excellent people leadership, and a solid track record in global supply chain and manufacturing excellence . This is a board level role working at the heart of a multi-site global organisation, directly involved in board level discussions, strategic planning, and hands-on operational execution. Here’s what we’re after ✅ Experience working with global supply chain/operations teams ✅ Multi-national leadership across 400 employees and OpEx budgets of £250M–£300M ✅ Exposure to large-scale organisations (£1–3B revenue) ✅ Led factory startups and understands the reality of building success from the ground up ✅ Strong command of EHSS metrics (TRIR, LTIR), compliance, and environmental safety controls ✅ Automation and facilities know-how? Absolutely essential ✅ Deeply collaborative – you’ve partnered with sales and marketing in the field, not just from a desk ✅ Global customer service delivery – think 98% OTIF ✅ Strategic powerhouse: from concept to execution, you’ve mapped the roadmap AND delivered results ✅ A clear presence – confident, capable, and inspiring You’ve also delivered real results: • 4–6% Variable Cost Productivity gains • Year-on-year CTQ & VOC quality improvements • Schedule attainment and reduced lead times via process improvements
