Job title: Snowflake DBA Will the role be 100% remote, hybrid or 100% office? Hybrid Location: Norwich, UK Rate: Market rates Duration: 6 Months Role description: • Manage and administer Snowflakes accounts. • Manage and Administer Snowflake data security and governance. • Key responsibilities: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition) • Manage and maintain database objects. • Manage and maintain virtual warehouses. • Perform database monitoring and tuning. • Fluency with ANSI and Snowflake extended SQL • Perform data sharing and use the Data Exchange and Snowflake Marketplace • Administer disaster recovery, back-up, and data replication. • Must have performed Database administration with one of the DBs like SQL Server, Exadata, Teradata etc Key skills/knowledge/experience: • Snowflake, • SQL • AWS • DB Administration • Knowledge of AWS Services Person specification: Negotiating, client facing, communication, assertive, team leading/team member skills, supportive. • Client-facing roles and excellent communication skills is essential.
