Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for an individual to become a Machine Operator with our expanding Livingston based client. What's on offer? A weekly rotational shift pattern of Early, Back and Night shift - paid weekly at 13.03 per hour . Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am Working as a Machine Operator you will be responsible for: Operating a wide range of production machinery Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality Cleaning production machinery Informing Supervisors of faulty machinery or production issues Monitoring the production line ensuring a smooth flow of production Inspecting finished items ensuring they are of the highest quality Storing goods and raw materials in the warehouse Adhering to relevant H&S regulations when operating machinery and handling products Keeping work areas and the production floor clean and free from hazards Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines To be successful as a Machine Operator you will ideally have previous experience in a production, manufacturing or similar environment. Combined with a good level of hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity; the ability to work on your own and as part of a team; and great attention to detail.
