Key Responsibilities As an SEN Teaching Assistant registered with our agency, you will: Support students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and physical disabilities. Assist with the delivery of tailored learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff. Promote independence and confidence in learning. Provide emotional and behavioural support to help students overcome barriers. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists. Skills, Experience and Abilities To be successful, you will need: Experience working with children with SEN (in education, care, or support settings). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to adapt support to meet individual needs. A genuine passion for making a difference to young lives. A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. Additional Information Some roles may involve personal care duties . Out-of-hours working for school events or trips may occasionally be required.
