The school is looking for a proactive Youth Mental Health Support Worker to join their team, providing an excellent opportunity to work alongside qualified specialists, including psychologists. Key Details: Youth Mental Health Support Worker Gloucester Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Specialist School £83-£95 per day (Depending on experience and qualifications) Long Term Temporary with the opportunity to be made permanent 8:30am-3:30pm ASAP Start Clear DBS (Or willingness to apply) Key Responsibilities of a Youth Mental Health Support Worker: Offer emotional and mental health support to students with various needs. Provide tailored interventions to promote academic and emotional growth. Use coping strategies to help manage stress, anxiety, and school avoidance. Work with educators and specialists to ensure personalised support. Apply restorative practices to create a safe, inclusive environment for all students. Work on a 1:1 basis with children who face behavioural challenges, sensory issues and communication difficulties.
