Sr Risk Analyst

At Walmart Mexico and Central America !, we’re looking for a Sr Risk Analyst to join our Security Standards Enforcement (SSE) team. What’s the mission of this role? You’ll be a key individual contributor , responsible for conducting technical security assessments across a wide range of technologies—bridging the gap between business teams and enterprise-level security standards and policies. Key Responsibilities Assess existing security controls, policies, and procedures to ensure effectiveness and regulatory compliance. Perform audits, technical risk assessments, and compliance tests on systems, networks, applications, and infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze risks and recommend security solutions aligned with global tech policies. Stay up to date on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity best practices. Support the development and maintenance of corporate security policies, standards, and guidelines. Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field. Required Knowledge & Experience 3 years in cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance roles within tech, retail, or data-driven organizations. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT . Experience with security assessment tools, audits, and compliance reporting. Ability to identify technical and operational risks and propose effective controls. Languages Advanced English (able to work with global teams).
