Product Engineer

Join Our Team at Daikin We are looking for a Product Engineer to join our team at Daikin in CDMX Polanco. This role is key in developing, improving, and localizing HVAC products to meet the demands of the Latin American market while ensuring alignment with Daikin’s global standards of quality and innovation. About the Role As a Product Engineer , your mission will be to lead product localization projects, support the development of new technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-performance HVAC solutions for Latin America. What You’ll Do Lead product development and localization projects from concept to launch, adapting global products to meet local market needs (climate, regulations, consumer preferences). Collaborate with R&D, quality, supply chain, manufacturing, and sales teams to develop and enhance HVAC products for the region. Conduct market research across Latin America, identifying business opportunities and ensuring compliance with local HVAC standards. Evaluate product performance, conduct field tests, and implement design improvements. Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and customer service teams. Document engineering processes, product specifications, and testing reports. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields (specialization in HVAC or energy efficiency is a plus). 3 years of experience in product engineering, preferably in the HVAC or home appliance industry. Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical design, and HVAC systems. Advanced English proficiency Knowledge of HVAC standards, regulations, and energy efficiency metrics.
