Description of the Position Direct Entry Captain – Take a seat in our most senior position in command of the aircraft. Required profile: To become one of our Airbus Captains, you will need: Minimum 7000hrs total flying time (excluding P3, rotary and single/multi-engine piston aircraft) For A380, you must currently be flying as an Airbus FBW Wide Body Captain and have a minimum of 3000 hours PIC on Airbus FBW Wide Body For A350, you must have a minimum of 3000 hours command time on a multi-crew, multi-engine commercial jet aircraft with MTOW of >50T. Minimum 1500 hours must be as a Captain on an Airbus FBW Wide Body aircraft.
