Facilities Operative – Cambridge Area £26,000 per annum | Represented by ARC Cambridge ARC Cambridge is working on behalf of a well-established and respected Facilities Management company that services commercial properties across the Cambridge area. As the business continues to grow, we are looking for a practical, hands-on Facilities Operative to join the team. The Role This is a varied and active role that involves maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of multiple sites. You’ll be working both indoors and outdoors, providing a high standard of service across a range of tasks. Key Responsibilities Include: Lawn care and regular grass cutting Seasonal pruning, deadheading, and upkeep of plant beds Regular weeding, including weed-killing treatments Litter picking and leaf removal to maintain tidy grounds General caretaking, including cleaning and light maintenance tasks Testing emergency lighting and fire alarm systems (full training provided) Carrying out Planned Maintenance checks, such as light switch inspections and lamp replacements Key Details Salary: £26,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm Holiday: 20 days plus Bank Holidays and your birthday off Full-time, permanent role What We’re Looking For A valid UK Driving Licence (maximum of 3 points) Someone living within a reasonable distance to Cambridge – local applicants especially welcome Previous experience in gardening, cleaning, or both A proactive, dependable team player with a strong work ethic Why Apply?
