Position: District Manager, Travel Retail Your Role The role of the District Manager is to be the in-market Brand Expert responsible for collaborating with leadership to manage the day-to-day international travel retail business; the core functions are to coach, train, escalate and expedite. They are the liaison accountable for ensuring achievement of sales targets, driving flawless store execution, identifying opportunities, and providing on-going support to travel retail partners. Your Impact Coach Align with company leadership, Travel Retail partners and in store teams to create action plans to improve performance based on current sales, observations, insights and customer feedback Support field teams in the delivery of consistent, high quality in-store customer experience through coaching and modelling appropriate selling behaviors Provide on-going support to ensure replication of the Brand and achievement of specific goals Train Ensure operational efficiencies and brand standards across multiple stores by influencing tool usage and the use of company communication Facilitate effective communication via touch bases and training workshops Identify development needs of store personnel and coordinate training Facilitate Sales Leadership and Associate onboarding alongside Partner leadership Collaborate in talent recruitment Escalate Report back strengths, opportunities, and actions of all store visits Partner with Area Managers to influence inventory levels and appropriate assortment variations based on specific market demands and cultural considerations Recommend solutions to common opportunities observed across stores and work with Area Manager and local partner teams to solve. Expedite Effective Calendar Planning to maximize time in store with a distortion to top performing stores Maintain expense control to deliver results within the seasonal expense budget Your Experience 5 years of experience in Retail Operations/Field Management/Travel Retail and multi-unit store management experience preferred Ability to influence at multiple levels within the organization Strong relationship builder Adaptability and ability to re-prioritize Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to travel up to 80% within wide geographic markets Spanish Language skills, ability to train in Spanish as needed
