VisionPLUS Developer - VSAM/COBOL

Profile : Vision PLUS Developer Job Location : Chennai Key Responsibilities : Vision PLUS Development : - Design and develop software solutions within the Vision PLUS framework. - Hands-on experience with one or more Vision PLUS sub-systems (CMS Posting, FAS, TRAMS, VMx). Incident Management : - Monitor and provide solutions for Production and UAT incidents. - Collaborate with multiple teams to resolve complex business problems. Technical Leadership : - Provide functional and technical guidance to Business Analysts and Developers. - Understand client requirements and develop solution design documents for delivery. - Assist in resolving complex issues and incidents during implementation, testing, and production. Collaboration and Communication : - Collaborate with multiple teams to provide technical know-how and solutions. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business needs. Vision PLUS Expertise : - Hands-on experience with one or more Vision PLUS sub-systems (CMS Posting, FAS, TRAMS, VMx). - High-level understanding of all Vision PLUS sub-systems and batch processing. Mainframe Skills : - Proficiency in Mainframe technologies (JCL, COBOL, VSAM, CICS). Development Methodologies : - Experience with Waterfall, Agile Scrum, or Agile Kanban methodologies. Additional Skills : - Vision Flex experience is preferable. Day-to-Day Activities : - Designing and developing software solutions within the Vision PLUS framework. - Monitoring and resolving Production and UAT incidents. - Collaborating with multiple teams to provide technical solutions. - Providing functional and technical guidance to team members. - Documenting solution designs and ensuring alignment with client requirements.
