Engineering Manager - Integrations

Requirements : - Strong technical proficiency in C#, . NET Core, and associated frameworks. - In-depth understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, system architecture, and software engineering best practices. - Extensive experience with relational databases such as SQL and PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with BigQuery, Redis, and Elasticsearch is a plus. - Solid grasp of microservices and event-driven architectures, with hands-on experience using RabbitMQ and Google Pub/Sub. - Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience working with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitLab CI/CD. - Demonstrated expertise with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Azure. - Strong knowledge of distributed systems, cloud-native application development, multi-tenant architectures, and Unix/Linux-based environments. - Familiarity with the Testing Pyramid approach and practical experience with tools across different testing layers. - Awareness of code quality and security scanning tools, including SonarQube, Checkmarx, ESLint, ReSharper, and Trivy. - A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies. - Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide engineering teams. - Hands-on experience with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic. - Domain knowledge in AdTech or Retail is an added advantage. - Develop a comprehensive integration strategy for connecting our tax-based solution with a range of ERPs and eCommerce platforms. - Collaborate with teams to align integration efforts with product and team goals. - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of experienced engineers, providing guidance on best practices, architecture, and development methodologies. - Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering teams. - Leverage your deep understanding of ERP systems (eg, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and eCommerce platforms (eg, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) to design and implement robust integrations. - Ensure seamless data flow and real-time synchronization between systems, minimizing latency and ensuring data integrity for an ever-growing client-base and increasing data volumes. - Drive the design of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions. - Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release support. - Build POCs to demonstrate the technical solution feasibility. - Focus on security aspects, observability, scalability, and telemetry. - Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed. - Implement Agile/scrum (ref:hirist.tech)
