Responsibilities Understand the existing landscape, client capabilities, and requirements to translate them into data solutions that meet performance, scalability, and availability needs. Lead teams in designing and developing data solutions configurations according to proposed architecture. Recommend approaches for solving development and integration problems within data warehouse and business intelligence solutions. Provide strategic direction and design implementation roadmaps. Serve as the go-to person for architecture, design, and development questions. Utilize strong expertise in data technologies. Identify and adopt new technologies and methodologies to enhance performance, automation, and scalability. Support business development activities by shaping and designing solution architectures for proposals and attending client meetings with the sales team. Experience and Qualifications Primary Skills: 15 years of experience in data engagements, especially leading data strategy, roadmaps, and implementation. Architecture: Experience in enterprise data strategy, transformation projects, data and warehouse architecture models, information flow, integration approaches, business information models, data lifecycle management, and reporting. Banking domain knowledge and experience is mandatory. Data migration planning, execution, and data retention/archival. Master Data Management strategies and execution with tools like Informatica MDM, Stibo PIM, Talend Data Fabric. Data governance capabilities assessment, framework design, and roadmap execution. Proficiency with architecture tools such as PowerDesigner, ArchiMate, Toad, ERWin. Design methodologies including normalized/de-normalized designs, ER models, star schema, relational, hierarchical models, Inmon and Kimball methodologies. Experience with databases like Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Hive, Pig, Impala, MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, Snowflake. Additional Skills: Programming and GUI skills in MS SQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL, Shell Scripting, VBA, T-SQL, DAX, SSRS, Oracle Forms, and others. Web/cloud tools: AWS, WordPress, Google Analytics/GTM. Management tools: MS Project, JIRA, etc. Architecture frameworks: TOGAF, DAMA-DMBOK.
