Job Description Job Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Branch/Retail Banking Clerk in the independent banking industry, located in Seminole, Texas. You will be an integral part of our team, managing customer accounts, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail banking services. Responsibilities: • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications. • Utilize banking software to maintain precise records of customer credit. • Take responsibility for handling banking transactions daily. • Play a key role in marketing a full range of credit and non-credit products and services to existing and potential individuals and small businesses. • Provide exceptional customer service by answering inbound calls and resolving customer inquiries promptly. • Manage account relationships on an ongoing basis, both inside and outside the bank. • Stay updated about banking products, banking services, and banking operations. • Be involved in community banking initiatives and commercial banking operations. • Be certified to operate a teller window, open new accounts, and take consumer loan applications. • Contribute to daily banking activities to ensure smooth operation.• Minimum of one year experience in a banking or financial institution. • Proficiency in using banking software for various transactions. • Experience in handling and responding to inbound calls in a detail oriented manner. • In-depth knowledge of a wide range of banking products and their applications. • Demonstrated experience in banking operations and associated procedures. • Familiarity with various banking services and their delivery to customers. • Proven ability to process banking transactions accurately and efficiently. • Experience in commercial banking, including business loans and credit services. • Understanding of community banking and its role in local economic development. • Experience in daily banking activities, including cash handling and account management. • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to resolve issues and maintain customer relationships.
