2025 Summer Laborer (Multiple Counties) What You Will Do: * Flag/traffic control for highway maintenance * Drive pickup truck to set out/pick up signs & follow mowing crew * Roadside litter pickup, clean &/or wash vehicles & equipment * Clean/hose down garage areas * Use weed eater to trim around buildings, fences, etc. * Help clean up roadsides when work crews are cutting brush/tree trimming * Answer phone &/or radio when clerk is unavailable * Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division. In accordance with Section 124.11 (B)(2) of Revised Code, Director of Administrative Services has determined this classification to be unskilled labor class & therefore exempt from written examination. * Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
