Position: School Social Worker Location: Michigan (Remote) Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site Salary: petitive hourly wage, based on experience Job Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified School Social Worker to join our team in supporting students in the Standish, Michigan area. In this role, you will provide on-site mental health and social-emotional support services, work with families and school staff, and help foster a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students Conduct social-emotional and behavioral assessments Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success Connect students and families with munity resources Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings as a related service provider Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with school policies Promote a positive school climate through outreach and prevention programs Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program Valid School Social Work License (S310) or Temporary Approval in the state of Michigan Familiarity with special education procedures and IEP processes Strong understanding of child development, trauma-informed care, and behavioral interventions Excellent munication, organizational, and collaboration skills Passion for working with diverse student populations in a school setting How to Apply: Please submit the following to Conner Winkler : Your Resume A brief Cover Letter Your Michigan School Social Work License or documentation of eligibility Email: Conner.winkler@soliant.
