Sales Despatch Controller

Our Company has been trading as a printing ink manufacturer for nearly 50 years, with the main plant based in Newhouse, North Lanarkshire. Our Sales Despatch Controller is retiring this Summer and we wish to recruit a suitable replacement. The new candidate will be fully-trained on our bespoke software and will shadow the existing controller during the early weeks. As every product despatched has a unique batch code and this has to be able to be tracked through to delivery, the job requires attention to detail and the ability to time-manage well. Exports account for around 25% of sales and these require additional documentation and liaison with the respective carrier companies. You will be working within a loyal, dedicated and friendly team which serves our customers well in a vital area of their business.
