Job Description

Job Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service, maximizing revenue, and managing a team of dedicated staff. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and catering services. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards. Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control. Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, forecast sales, and monitor financial performance. Implement cost control measures to optimize profitability. Analyse sales data to identify trends and implement strategies to increase revenue. Customer Service: Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer complaints or issues promptly. Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by regularly reviewing feedback and implementing improvements. Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage F&B staff, ensuring a high level of morale and team spirit. Schedule shifts and manage staff rosters. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities. Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to design and update menus. Ensure menu items are profitable and meet customer expectations. Monitor food quality and presentation. Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Plan and execute promotional events and activities. Required Qualifications: Proven experience as an F&B Manager or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and standards. Proficiency in financial management and cost control. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software. Food and Beverage certificate Skills and Competencies: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations. Customer-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality service. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Work Environment: The role involves working in a fast-paced and often high-pressure environment. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
