Job Description
Minimum requirements: Matric A diploma or certificate in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business Administration is advantageous Experience with South African accounting systems and tax requirements (e.g. VAT, PAYE) Knowledge of Xero accounting software is advantageous, but we will assist with training Key Responsibilities: Capture and process invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries as well as assisting with account queries Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts when needed Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems Assist in VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions to SARS Follow up on outstanding payments and assist with credit control Manage office supplies and inventory Coordinate meeting schedules and take minutes when required Maintain a clean and organized filing system (both digital and physical) Provide administrative support to various departments as needed Consultant: Timiyah de Goede - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
