Commercial Solar Journeyman Electrician

Job Description Job Description Our Solar Electrician reviews solar plans and executes for our Commercial Division. Being part of a team of solar installers, the Solar Electrician leads the crew in a sound electrical layout and installation. You must maintain a deep understanding of building code regulations to check and ensure compliance with the highest standards of building design and construction. Success in this role will be demonstrated by employing effective process controls to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems. The Role requires an individual who shares our company values, who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and is excited to help us tackle challenges to succeed in our business. A successful candidate will have the following skills: 1-2 years of Solar Electrical Experience Strong conduit bending skills Experience doing underground conduit installation to include layout Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) Proper wiring means and methods Identify, troubleshoot, terminate electrical circuits Install panel boards, transformers and SES's Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach over head Constantly moving on your feet Climb ladders (all types) Able to follow guidance from lead person or foreman Perform work in neat, workmanlike manner Keep work area clean and clear of safety hazards Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers Able to follow all required safety protocols and procedures Willing to learn and to pass your knowledge on to others Ability to work 40 hours per week or more if required Company Description Commercial, Residential, Roofing Services: Solar and Electrical Harmon Electric is a family-run business that has been around for 50 years.
