Role - Head Chef As the Head Chef you will: Manage all aspects of the kitchen in a hands-on capacity Control labour, the GP, and all costs & budgets Recruit, train and develop your team Write and cost seasonally changing menus Order and control stock and liaise with suppliers Maintain high standards of presentation, compliance and company systems & procedures Work closely with the front of house team Work to company targets and KPIs' Attributes - Head Chef Experience as a Head Chef/Sous Chef in busy restaurants, catering operations, pubs or hotels Strong financial & commercial acumen - controlling GP's, labour, costs & budgets Excellent people, communication and people management skills A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail An intrinsic understanding of legislation & compliance Menu development skills - writing and costing dishes and menus Strong leadership, coaching, performance management and people development skills A positive and outgoing personality and outlook IT literate - working with systems & process Apply today Please note: You must be resident in the UK and eligible to work.
