You will play a key role in preparing and prosecuting criminal cases, working closely with law enforcement and justice sector stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Review and assess prosecution files submitted by law enforcement and government agencies Provide pre-prosecution advice and direct appropriate charges Prepare case papers and manage evidence for prosecution Advocate in Magistrates Court, with occasional County Court appearances Collaborate with victims, witnesses, and justice system partners Assist in the preparation of committal papers for Indictable cases where required Essential Criteria: Qualified Solicitor or Barrister entitled to practise in Northern Ireland At least one year’s post-qualification advocacy experience in criminal cases, gained within the last six years in a Magistrates Court environment Additional Information: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK Shortlisted candidates may be asked to apply for an Access NI check (fees apply) Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted CVs may be retained for future legal opportunities How to Apply: Please submit your CV via the application link or contact Ray at Raymond.McPhillips@stafflinerecruit.com or call 028 9024 2824 .
