Junior Buyer

illycaffè is an Italian company founded in Trieste in 1933 with the mission to offer the best coffee to the world. We are looking for a Junior Buyer to join our Procurement Team at the Headquarter in Trieste. What will you do under your responsibility as a Junior Buyer: create and implement global procurement strategies that are innovative, cost-effective, and incorporate the growing complexities and challenges within Industry; manage the company’s supply of Goods and Services; discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships; negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms; approve the ordering of necessary promotional products and services; finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries; examine and test existing contracts; track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness; collaborate with key persons and Functions to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company; control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs. Your Requirements: degree in in Business Administration, Engineering or related field – other professional certifications are desirable; knowledge of contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms; negotiation and customer service skills; professional knowledge of the English language. illycaffè as B-Corp is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace generating positive effects for the environment, for the community and for people.
