Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job The Product Manager is responsible for managing and promoting bioMérieux's bacteriology solutions (products, software, and services). This includes supporting marketing strategies, implementing and monitoring marketing action plans, and ensuring successful product launches to enhance the bacteriology solution's presence in sepsis and AMR/AMS fields. The role aims to drive growth and profitability while considering regulatory and legal constraints across different markets. The Product Manager will also oversee sales budgets and ensure proper product positioning based on market and competitor analysis. Main Accountabilities Develop, implement, and monitor marketing action plans to establish a leading position in AMR/AMS for the full bacteriology solution in Italy. Support strategy and execute marketing actions, events, and new product launches within the assigned perimeter. Analyze sales trends and key customer data to identify opportunities and mitigate threats in collaboration with the Market Manager Bacteriology Adriatic. Ensure solid product positioning and market development aligned with strategic goals by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Study and analyze competitors' offerings and market dynamics to identify new growth opportunities for bioMérieux bacteriology products. Manage sales forecasts and product allocations, supporting supply chain activities for critical products. Contribute to the update of tender dossiers and marketing tools. Oversee technical review of product labeling translations requested by Corporate PLD for bacteriology lines. Manage the lifecycle of bacteriology products, including PPO and customer communication. Lead local KOL management activities and collaborate with Medical, Sales, and Customer Service teams on cross-functional projects. Plan and execute field force product training sessions. Education and Background Studies: A scientific degree is required. Additional experience in marketing and/or sales is preferred. Skills and Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with effective cross-functional communication and public presentation skills. High sense of accountability and follow-through. Analytical, organized, proactive, and self-motivated with full accountability. Experience in healthcare, preferably in the IVD sector. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools (Salesforce experience is a plus).
