Climber / Arborist

Hi-Line Tree Services Pty Ltd is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Tree Climber/Arborist to join our professional team in the stunning Whitsundays region. If you have a strong background in arboriculture and a passion for working at height, we want to hear from you! What you'll be doing Climbing and performing advanced tree pruning, rigging, and removals using industry best practices Climbing in confined spaces and working with cranes Operating and maintaining a range of arboricultural equipment including chainsaws, climbing gear, EWP, stump grinders, and wood chippers Assessing tree health and structural integrity to determine appropriate work methods Working collaboratively with ground crew and other team members to complete jobs efficiently and safely Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with WHS, environmental, and industry standards Supporting the training and mentoring of junior crew members as needed What we're looking for Proven experience as a tree climber/arborist (minimum 2 years preferred) Certificate III in Arboriculture (or equivalent) highly desirable Proficiency in modern climbing and rigging techniques White Card and current First Aid/CPR certification MR/HR truck licence highly regarded Physically fit with a strong commitment to safe work practices Professional, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team A passion for tree health, safety, and the environment What we offer Above-award rates based on experience and qualifications Ongoing training and development, including upskilling and ticket opportunities Access to high-quality gear and well-maintained equipment A positive, down-to-earth team culture Flexible work arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance Opportunities to work on a wide variety of challenging and rewarding jobs across the beautiful Whitsundays About us Hi-Line Tree Services Pty Ltd is a trusted provider of professional tree care across the Whitsundays.
