What you'll be doing Serving a variety of beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner Monitoring and maintaining gaming machines, ensuring they are in good working condition Providing guidance and assistance to customers on the use of gaming machines Handling cash and financial transactions related to gaming activities Ensuring the bar and gaming areas are well-stocked, clean and tidy at all times Adhering to all relevant liquor licensing and gaming regulations Supporting the broader hotel operations as needed What we're looking for Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, ideally within a bar, lounge or gaming environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service Familiarity with gaming machine operations and a good understanding of relevant regulations Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently as required Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification What we offer At Marquis Hotel, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work experience.
