Maintenance/Handyman

Busy Hotel in Mackay seeking an experienced maintenance person for an immediate start. Successful candidate must be handy and able to deal with a range of issues from the basics such as changing door locks, washers, outdoor maintenance and any other number of issues that come up in Hotel rooms and outdoor maintenance. Part time role (20 hours per week over 4 days) with the opportunity of more hours during the busier season What will you do? - Undertake general repairs and maintenance as well as preventative maintenance through the Hotel and surrounding grounds (including basic plumbing, air conditioning service and repairs). - Servicing of general equipment as required. - Ensuring all painted areas are maintained, in good condition and undertaking repair works as needed. This job would ideally suit someone who is semi-retired on just looking for that part time position from a lifestyle and/or financial perspective.
