This position will provide the first point of contact for the public and event organisers and will be responsible for provision of customer service and event staging support services. About You Our ideal applicant will have: Knowledge of the sport, entertainment, function, and convention industry Knowledge of event staging practices and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Function/event staging service delivery skills Current first aid & CPR Current Queensland “C” class driver’s licence Ability to lead a team in achieving strong customer service and event results Ability to work without supervision and take initiatives as required within overall operational framework Ability to communicate and negotiate with customers and event organisers The capacity to perform physical labour is a requirement of this role Responsible service of alcohol Ability to work to a flexible time schedule and outside normal business hours Ability to liaise with a wide range of people with diverse background, interests, age and abilities.
