Human Resources Project Specialist (3763) – Temporary Full Time About Us The Livingstone Shire sits nestled along the beautiful Capricorn Coast and covers approximately 11,776 square kilometres, with a population of almost 41,000 residents. Council invites applications from enthusiast HR practitioners with a knack for driving change. The HR Projects Specialist role will be at the heart of our HR initiatives, from contributing to workforce planning and position design to stakeholder engagement and change management. This 6-month role is designed to be impactful, ensuring smooth communication and compliance with all things HR, and leaving a lasting positive mark within Council. In this role, the key responsibilities are: Leading HR Projects: Bring your expertise to plan and implement HR projects that align with our goals and values. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with employees, unions, and leadership to ensure transparency and compliance. Driving Change: Develop and deliver change management strategies fostering positive workplace culture. Ensuring Compliance: Keep us on track with HR policies, legislation, and best practices. To be successful in this position, you will be: HR Savvy, with a strong knowledge of HR principles, workforce planning, and industrial relations. Skilled at communicating and engaging with stakeholders. Able to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. Tertiary qualified in HR, Industrial Relations, Business, or related field.
