Job Advertisement: Civil Works Plumber Position: Civil Works Plumber Location: Yeppoon Company: JRT Yeppoon Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role: We are seeking experienced and dedicated skilled Civil Works Plumber to join our growing team at JRT Group in Yeppoon, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in civil construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This is a full-time, permanent position offering competitive remuneration and excellent opportunities for career development. We are not offering FIFO or DIDO positions. Must be willing to relocate to the Capricorn Coast. Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain water supply and drainage systems for civil works projects. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts. Conduct inspections and testing to identify and rectify plumbing issues. Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople. Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. Operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues in a timely manner. Adhere to workplace health and safety policies. What we're looking for: Certified Plumber with relevant qualifications. Proven experience in civil works plumbing. Strong understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and regulations. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. Excellent communication, Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical fitness and the ability to work in various site conditions. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport preferred. Able to pass random drug and alcohol test.
