About the role/Job Summary: You will be able to use your skills in a unique industry as a key member of the maintenance and production team. A team-based position focused on meeting challenging targets of throughput, safety, and quality. You will help to ensure the successful operation and performance of the Mill and it’s supporting infrastructure and equipment. The role will involve performing electrical maintenance and repairs to factory plant in -co-ordination with our Production Teams. This role is on shift during the crush season and is day work during the non-crush (maintenance) season. As a minimum you will hold and / or maintain the following Qualifications and Licenses: Cert III in Electrotechnology Current Queensland Electrical License (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic License) Industrial plant experience would be an advantage, however, is not critical; Work at Heights, HV Switching, EWP, Confined Space encouraged, but not required on the job training will be provided. Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment Effective communication skills and be driven by systems, processes and discipline An excellent focus on safety and a strong desire to be concerned for the health and wellbeing of all work colleagues Valid Australian Driver’s License You will be a person that is comfortable with working in a continuous improvement environment, and you will: be driven by systems, processes and discipline; be team-oriented; have a positive attitude; have effective communication skills; and be focused on internal customer service.
