OT Solution Architect (Warehouse Automation) Contractor

OT Solution Architect Lake Forest, IL - Remote Role 7 Months Major Responsibilities/Key Task Create architecture designs (conceptual, logical, and physical) for the proposed technologies ensuring that those designs are scalable, fault tolerant, secure, performant and follow Company s and industry s standards. Represent those designs in Company s Architecture Governance process. Oversee and assist vendor personnel in the technical setup of equipment and software for proofs of concepts (POC) and production implementations. Maintain documentation on existing technology setup and integrations within Company s distribution centers, including a reusable handbook for setup of technology within new distribution centers. Develop and document, in partnership with other architects, reusable patterns and standards (IT/OT network, communication protocols, security, and integrations) supporting the deployment and operations of industrial technology within Company s supply chain. Work Hours 8 a to 5 pm Work Relationships GTG Project Scope/Deliverable Work independently or with Company's OT architect to deliver architectural deliverables (see Major Responsibilities section) for new OT technology deployments, OT technology POCs, or document existing deployments. Ability to work remotely with travel between 10% and 30% within North America.
