Leadership Opportunity Career Development Strategic Influence Benefits Excellent Comp Package Job Details Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Oversight Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger management, journal entries, and month-end close. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate invoicing, collections, and timely payments. Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial transactions. Enhance and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Financial Planning & Analysis Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic business decisions. Evaluate revenue, expenses, and profitability trends to optimize financial performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities, refine pricing strategies, and improve profit margins. Lead budgeting and variance analysis processes to align financial planning with company objectives. Oversee capital management strategies to support business growth initiatives. Tax & Compliance Manage sales tax filings and compliance through platforms such as TaxJar. Support external audits by preparing documentation and ensuring adherence to financial regulations. Strengthen internal controls to maintain financial integrity and mitigate risk. Operational & Strategic Support Partner with leadership to refine financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy. Improve financial tools and reporting systems, utilizing QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions. Provide data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency and inform business growth strategies. Spearhead system implementations and process improvements to support scaling initiatives. Investor & External Relations Work closely with investors, financial institutions, and private equity groups to support business growth. Prepare financial reports and presentations for key stakeholders. Assist in securing funding and managing capital structure to support expansion plans. Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA preferred. 5-10 years of experience Advanced proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (QuickBooks Online preferred). Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing accounting teams and improving financial processes. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Interested in hearing more?
