About the role You will provide onsite engineering services and technical support to fearlessly strive towards safety, environmental, specification, design and contractual requirements across your portfolio of projects in regional Melbourne. Projects include; Land development - Residential and Industrial Sub-divisionsWater / Sewer upgradesRoad infrastructure for local councilsDefence contracts You will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and proven technical expertise to: effectively deliver programming, staging and construction methodologiesachieve compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and standardsmanage team outputs across profitability, efficiency and human relationslead monthly assessments and forecasts of project's financial performancebuild effective relationships with repeat clients and consultantsensure a safe working environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with: a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineeringover 10 years’ experience in the civil construction industry with over two years’ experience specifically in project managementexperience in community infrastructure, earthworks, drainage and road constructiona collaborative management style to build a close, outcome focused teamstrong commercial acumen, leadership and negotiation skillsstakeholder and client engagement experience.
