Our modern medical centre, strategically situated in the heart of Sarina, is purpose-built with 5 consultation rooms, treatment room and a procedure room. We maintain a mixed billing approach, offering bulk billing for children under 16, concession cardholders, pensioners and Veteran Affairs patients. The operating hours are from Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Our practice is accredited and ensures the presence of two dedicated nurses during the week to support doctors. Our facility has on site QML pathology, Dentist, and allied health services. Services that we offer are: Work medical’s Skin cancer checks and minor procedures Women's and Children's health Immunisations Men's health Driver’s licences etc. Position Description: Provide GP Services. GP position in a five-doctor practice. Work hours are 08:00 to 17:00 and possibly some Saturdays 8.00 to 12.00. No after-hours. Practice provides full range of GP work including large workload of skin conditions. Mentorship is available for the doctors who are interested. Qualifications & Experience: AHPRA registration and a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a GP Job Type: Permanent – Full time Salary Information: 60-65% of Medicare billings or $100,000 per year, whichever is greater ( for eligible doctors ) After Hours Requirements: No About Sarina: Sarina is a town of approximately 10,000, situated 35km south of Mackay, 300km north of Rockhampton and on the North Queensland coast – essentially a tropical paradise. The facilities of Hay Point and Dalrymple Bay make Sarina a focal point for coal exportation, while sugar cane farming, sugar milling, (sugar mill in town), alcohol distilling, dairying, cattle grazing, tropical fruit growing, horticulture, aquaculture, fishing and tourism provide further development in the region.
