INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS Greater Shepparton City Council, situated in the heart of the Goulburn Valley, is the fourth largest provincial centre in Victoria and has a well-developed economy due to its strong agricultural and irrigation base, with major industries related to food processing, manufacturing and transport. The Goulburn Valley is often referred to as 'The Food Bowl of Australia' as around 25% of the total value of Victoria's agricultural production is generated in this area. Greater Shepparton has a population of approximately 65,000, and an expenditure budget in excess of $118 million. The population is culturally diverse with 9.9% of residents being born overseas. Early Childhood Educator – Diploma (Kindergarten) Hourly Rate: $30.58 to $32.05 (rate dependent on level of experience) Closing: Friday 2 May 2025 Part Time (12 hrs 40 min p/w) – Temporary (To 20 January 2026) Colliver Rd Kindergarten is seeking a suitably qualified educator to fill the position of Early Childhood Educator –Diploma. The service is located in South Shepparton. This role is a temporary part time position, 12 hrs 40 min per week, Monday and Tuesday currently 8.30am – 3.20pm during the school terms. We are seeking an educator who is able to support our children to develop a strong sense of identity, connect with and contribute to their world, have a strong sense of wellbeing, become confident and involved learners and effective communicators We strongly believe that children will be involved in supervised risky play where they will be provided the opportunity to be challenged in a safe environment, participate is messy play and build positive relationships with peers and educators. Successful applicants will hold: Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care recognised by ACECQA Current First Aid – HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting Current CPR – HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation Criminal History Check (valid within six months). Current and valid Employee Working with Children Check Card (WWCC).
