Operations Manager

MAIN PURPOSES OF THE JOB: Distribution Center Management: Oversee and control logistics budgets exceeding €7.5M, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with organizational financial goals. Oversee day-to-day operations of the distribution center in collaboration with the 3PL partner. Ensure all activities align with organizational goals for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Manage inventory control, storage optimization, and inbound/outbound logistics to meet distribution targets. Combo/Maquila operations to ensure the efficient production. Distribution Process Optimization: Ensure efficient and timely distribution of products to customers and regional hubs. Analyze distribution workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to enhance speed and reliability. Collaborate with 3PL to design and maintain optimal routing, scheduling, and load management. Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and report on logistics KPIs and metrics to assess both distribution and operational performance. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and optimization opportunities. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational and distribution efficiency and accuracy. Develop and implement new tools, processes, and solutions to drive continuous improvement in both logistics and distribution. Project Leadership: Lead work packages in the rollout of strategic projects involving the 3PL partner, with a focus on distribution and logistics alignment. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and achieve desired outcomes. Collaboration & Communication: Build and maintain strong working relationships with 3PL partners and internal stakeholders. Act as a key point of contact to ensure seamless communication and alignment on distribution priorities MAIN SKILLS REQUIRED: Education BS in Engineering, Logistics and /or Supply Chain Management or 10 years of equivalent experience working inDistribution Centres, Warehouses. Experience 3-5 years in previous similar supervision position Proven experience in distribution center management or logistics operations. Strong knowledge of distribution processes, KPI monitoring, reporting, and performance metrics. Demonstrated success in process improvement and operational optimization in logistics and distribution. Project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Working knowledge of SAP and WMS modules/ systems Experience in Inventory Management and Control tasks and tools Familiarity with 3PL collaboration and operational frameworks is a plus.
