IMPORT AND EXPORT SPECIALIST About the Role - Have the monitoring of the Logistics of the entire operation of Import & Export , in order to be able to comply with deliveries in a timely manner to the customer by the company. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Trade or Related Knowledge of Customs Law Experience in Import/Export 2 years previous Material Handling and Administration Management of Annex 24 Systems Handling of customs brokers Traffic Management Personnel Management Working under pressure Focused on results Teamwork Clear communication Excel – advanced 2 years of previous experience Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a must. Responsibilities • Preparation of Invoices for Imports and Exports. • Preparation of import pre-shipments. • Placement of Units for the crossing of goods at the Border. • Placement of Units for National Operations. • Preparation of Bills of Lading. • Preparation of documents for the Closing of Virtual Operations. • Prepare documents for sea, land and air shipments collected at the plant. • Follow-up with Customs Agents, for the Import & Export process. • Ensure that you are the main contact for customs agents for the procedures of crossing goods. • Logistics Transport Tracking. • Ensure the importation of goods that arrive as INBOND at the Border. • Ensure that no inventories of merchandise are generated in the A.A. Warehouse. • Preparation of shipments by Courier, UPS/ Fedex, etc. • Preparation of Documents for imports of Fixed Assets. • Tracking and release of goods arriving at the airport • Tracking and release of goods arriving through Manzanillo. • Tracking of guides by courier, until their import into the plant. • INEGI monthly report. • Expedited freight reporting. • Approval of Import & Export Declarations. • Support in the hiring of carriers for the collection and/or delivery of the materials required at the plant. • Preparation of Supplier Purchase Orders. • Support in the cross-training sessions assigned by their supervisor. • Support in the activities that your supervisor and/or plant demands in the activities that are required for the taking of the Physical Inventories that the plant requires. • Support in the preparation of manuals of their activities and/or revise existing ones or update them.
