Insights and Analytics is central to the growth of any business today and a high priority for Mattel in EMEA. We are in growth mode. To support this, we seek a Senior Market Research Analyst on a temporary basis for a 2-year project based in Milano. This role will be an outstanding addition to our knowledge hub, delivering accurate, insightful analysis to drive consumer-based decision making for our Consumer Products business. It involves delving into numbers, understanding consumer context and trends, and surfacing opportunities while monitoring current performance. The Consumer Products organization is responsible for developing and implementing licensing strategies for Mattel brands and finding opportunities to grow beyond traditional toy spaces. What Your Impact Will Be: Own, mine, and analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights into the EMEA Consumer Products business, stimulating sales growth. Contextualize Mattel’s performance to inform and challenge stakeholders, providing regular reports and surfacing movements with recommendations. Insights may relate to category opportunities, pricing, ranging, promotional mechanics, media performance, and competitive awareness. Lead category and licensor-specific insights projects, leveraging internal, external, and agency data to create compelling business presentations. Present insights confidently to internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Develop your internal network within the EMEA Insights team and the broader CP division to reach team goals. What We’re Looking For: At least 4 years of experience in market data analysis, with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with Tableau, preferably in dashboard design. Understanding of Google BigQuery and cloud data sources. Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, distribution, or retail environment. High performance drive, thought leadership, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and work in a matrix organization.
