SAP P2P Functional Specialist

MSC Cruises is seeking a qualified SAP P2P Functional Specialist to join its Finance Transformation program. The role involves collaborating with the SAP P2P Team to ensure a state-of-the-art, future-proof design of Finance Procure to Pay processes and contributing to the next generation of these processes. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Collaborate with the SAP P2P Team (IT and Finance) in defining the Procure to Pay process, including: Assessing Business Requirements for Procure to Pay process evolutions; Designing and conceptualizing target end-to-end Purchase to Pay processes aligned with SAP standards, best practices, and innovative solutions; Ensuring functional process integration with Procurement and Inventory tools in collaboration with IT and procurement stakeholders; Managing documentation such as BPD, blueprint, functional specifications, user manuals, and training materials, approved by Finance and Procurement owners; Reviewing and validating technical solutions proposed by the Development team; Defining parametrization standards and naming conventions with the Development team. Prepare and document end-to-end test plans, collaborate on test scripts, and perform functional integration testing (FIT); Contribute to the migration from legacy systems, with knowledge of Migration Cockpit as a plus; Assist the Finance Business team with UAT, monitor tests, and coordinate issue resolution; Collaborate on defining the Target Operating Model (TOM) for P2P; Provide support and training to business users for effective application use and process understanding, including rollout support; Report progress, issues, and risks related to P2P processes, and escalate issues as needed; Ensure the functional quality and integrity of solutions through testing; Build strong, sustainable relationships within the organization. Minimum Requirements: 5 years of experience in consulting or SAP implementation environments (development skills not required); Experience in cruise/shipping/hospitality industry is a plus; Extensive SAP S/4 HANA (SAP MM/FI) experience, including implementation in greenfield and rollout projects, working with onsite and nearshore/offshore teams; Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Management, or equivalent; Strong functional knowledge of Procure to Pay processes; Team player with collaborative spirit, curiosity, and enthusiasm; Good communication skills across functions and geographies, with conceptual and analytical abilities; Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
