Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years, 3 years preferred License: Active RN license in the state or compact license Certifications: Flu Vaccine required Must-Have: - Level I Trauma experience - Travel experience - Large hospital experience Job Description: - Candidates must meet all requirements strictly to be considered. - No first-time travelers unless they have 3 years of recent experience. - On-call and weekend work as needed. - Weekend block scheduling may be considered, but block scheduling is not accommodated. - Only travelers living at least 100 miles from the facility are accepted. - Pending license not accepted; all travelers must comply with compact licensing guidelines. - Requested time off must be included during submission, and time off cannot include Memorial Day and 4th of July holidays. - During end-of-year holidays, travelers must be willing to work at least two out of three holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if applicable, or at least one out of two if only two holidays fall within the assignment. - Former permanent and internal associate travelers must have a separation period of one year before being eligible to return. - Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur, but is rarely required. - BSN required only for certain specialized roles; otherwise ADN is accepted. - Cerner experience is preferred.
