Travel CT Tech - $3,215 per week in Rapid City, SD

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Medical Imaging - CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 Hour Variable Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience accepted License: No state licensure required Certifications: BLS, ARRT-CT Must-Have: - Graduate from a Radiology Program that allows sitting for ARRT (R) (CT) certification with advanced certification in Cat Scan - Team-oriented - Experience in a comparable facility (size/acuity) - Preferred experience with CTA - Familiarity with EPIC charting system Description: Level II Trauma Center with a heavy trauma population. Patient cases include falls, motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, and stabbings. Will scan throughout various areas including inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient. Higher level scans such as angiograms will be performed. Approximately 60-70 scans are conducted per day in the emergency department. Inpatient scans vary, while outpatient scans average around 50 per day. The department is equipped with Siemens scanners, with a total of four scanners available. There is always another CT Tech on duty 24/7 for support. The schedule is varied and will be discussed during the interview. A weekend rotation is required and will also be discussed during the interview. No on-call duties are required. Holiday rotation is required. Time off requests will be managed by the department manager. Preferred scrub color is black or provided scrubs.
