Travel RRT - $2,757 per week in Rapid City, SD

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour Variable Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred; 1 year considered with manager review License: State Respiratory Care License required prior to submission Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; manager will consider Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) based on experience Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required if working in NICU Must-Have: Critical Care and General respiratory care experience Description: Facility has a capacity of 260-280 beds. Travelers with a minimum of 2 years of experience are preferred. One year of experience may be considered upon manager review. First-time travelers will be assessed based on strong experience. Respiratory care for Pediatric Critical Care, Neonatal Critical Care, and general inpatient respiratory care is required. Must be prepared to care for NICU patients if requested. Charge Respiratory Therapist and Clinical Specialists available on the unit 24/7. Supervisors, Manager, and Director support staff will be available. Charting system utilized is EPIC. Common equipment includes Drager V500 and Savina 300 ventilators, 3100A Oscillator, Hamilton C1/MRI, ResMed APAP, CPAP, Bi-level, Airvo2 high flow devices, Cough Assist, Incourage vest, ABL90 Blood gas machines, IPV, and Praxair iNO. Floating to other areas for Respiratory Therapy coverage will occur, but not to different facilities unless specified in the contract. Orientation will be provided. Weekend rotation is required every other week. Home health call may be scheduled every other week during defined business hours. Holidays falling within the contract dates are expected to be worked. Up to 7 days of time off approval can be requested but must be coordinated to avoid contract disruption. Scrub color required is pewter.
