Job Title: Echo Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Echo Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Sunday-Thursday Hours per Shift: Guaranteed Hours: Orientation Hours: Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: License: Certifications: Must-Have: Description: Performs adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms. Assists in transesophageal echocardiography in accordance with established practices and procedures. Provides preliminary diagnostic evaluation and notifies cardiologists of examination results. Consults with cardiologists to establish requirements for non-standard examinations. Determines technical factors to satisfy requirements. Assists with left atrial appendage closures. Position will require call rotation with a minimum of 10 days per month, including holiday rotation. Receives direction from providers and department managers or supervisors.
